Bodhi (Pali for wisdom) Taru (Sanskrit for tree) literally means the tree of wisdom. It is a recurring imagery in Indian history and scriptures—a tree that nurtures the intellectual growth of all who seek sanctuary beneath it.
The fruits of the Bodhi Taru are wisdom and originality, its flowers stand for honesty and morality, its roots represent strength and courage, and its shade is kindness and empathy.
